Another good piece of news coming during this lengthy lockout. And since we don't have too many of them to report, we seize the opportunities we get.
Davone Bess, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins is spending his lockout time in Costa Rica, reports PFT, but he is not kicking back and relaxing. Instead Bess is using this down time to help dig drainage ditches as part of Global Volunteers.
I have a lot of respect for Mr.Bess. A lot of players are trying to minimize the strain on their bodies, and he is performing a very physically demanding job.
I hope we get to hear more stories about people doing the right things, making a difference in the world.

Ochocinco, the Snake Wrangler
So Chad Ochocinco finally decides to listen to the owner of the Cincinatti Bengals, Mike Brown, and take some of his advice. But in pure Ocho style, instead of taking Mike Brown's advice to focus on football, he decided to take up Snake Wrangling.
Ocho is the one here making the foolish decision, but Mike Brown had to know giving Ocho this type of idea was going to only push him to it.
It's too bad Ocho didn't realize how close he came to be worm food after that bull nearly caved his face in. Let's hope this fool doesn't get killed this time either.
